As we are planning to make and eat our own applesauce tomorrow, today we decided to survey our classmates to see which way they prefer to eat apples. Here are our results:

Thank you to everyone who sent in apples for our investigation des pommes! We are very much looking forward to using (and eating) them over the next week!

It's hard to believe summer has come and gone so quickly! As great as it was, it's nice to be back settling into a routine again.

​Our new Kindergartens had a great first day of school exploring their classroom, playing outdoors, and making new friends. Today we started with some choice play time to get our friends acquainted with the different areas in our classroom and we also learned the tidying up expectations here in K-3! Everyone pitched in and we beat the timer! We read a story called "Welcome to Kindergarten" and listened to some of the songs we will be singing as part of our morning routine. We had morning and afternoon snack, and even adventured alllllllll the way to the cafeteria for lunch. I was so impressed with the behaviour of my new students! Way to go! This afternoon we went outdoors in the back yard to play and before we knew it - the first day was over and it was time for our new friends to pack up and head home! 

I am so looking forward to getting to know you all better throughout the course of this year. We have lots of excitement and learning in store!
