I will be sending home the October Scholastic flyers in message baggies today, and they will be due back on Friday, October 30th if you wish to make an order.

Happy Friday Everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that I have posted the first lot of pictures on the Media section of our website. That page is password protected, and a yellow slip of paper with the password was given out in your child's message baggie on Curriculum Night. If you have misplaced the password, please e-mail me and I can give it to you. I have more pictures on my camera at home, but unfortunately the battery died and the charger is nowhere to be found. Hopefully I will be able to find it soon so I can post those as well!

Tomorrow is Jamarama Day at Topsail Elementary. Children are asked to bring a small donation in exchange for wearing their PJs to school. All proceeds go toward the Janeway Children's Hospital in St. John's. Thank you so much for your support!

When sorting through Scholastic orders yesterday, I noticed there were 2 forms with no name. If you ordered books for your child and they did not come home in their message baggies today, please contact me ASAP! I have your books, but there was no name on the form so I wasn't sure who they belonged to! 
One flyer is an order for Bob Books Beginner Readers (Set 1) and Little Boo (totalling $21.98), the other order is for "Little Critter Just So Thankful" and "Littlest Mummy" (totalling $8.98). I also have 2 leftover books "The Little Engine That Could  Saves The Thanksgiving Day Parade" and a Scholastic Halloween Pack. If you are missing one of these two items, let me know and I will send it home right away. This month was a very, very large order (thank you!!) which can make it a little confusing when trying to figure out who owns what.

Hello Everyone! 
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend spent with family and friends. I'm finally recuperated from my nasty bout of pneumonia - what a relief!

Scholastic book orders arrived today, so I will be organizing them after school and sending them home tomorrow in the kids backpacks. October order forms will be sent home later in the week.

This weeks homework is being sent home today in message baggies, as well as an updated copy of the October calendar (I noticed there were some errors on the previous version).

 I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I'm still feeling completely miserable with pneumonia and won't be back until at least Tuesday. The kids are in great hands with Ms. Shea! We will resume our regular weekly homework routine as soon as I return. Please feel free to contact me by e-mail, text or Class Dojo for any issues that needs to be addressed in the meantime.

On the sidebar, you can enter your e-mail address to receive reminders, news, information and updates about our class via e-mail. Please fill in your first and last name too (it makes it easier for me to tell who everyone is!)

I am hoping to upload the first pictures to the "Media" section of our site in the next day or two. I took some great snaps of the kids during our Terry Fox Walk!
