Yesterday, we visited Ms. Borden at the library to investigate our 5 Senses! First, we read a really interesting book where Ms. Frizzle's class takes the Magic School Bus on a "sense-sational" trip that takes them through an eye, an ear, a tongue, and even a dog's nose to learn about the 5 senses. Then, we split into groups and circulated five super neat stations that helped us to explore how we use each of our 5 senses. We didn't experiment with our sense of taste, as there are too many allergies and restrictions to be aware of. Check out some of the photos of us investigating our sense of touch, smell, hearing, and sight. We had a great time! Thanks again to Ms. Borden for organizing and facilitating this very fun and hands-on experience!

Check out the directed drawing artwork we did this week! With a Sharpie marker on cardstock, we listened carefully and drew each line step-by-step. We then cut them out and attached them to some black construction paper and drew some lovely gold snowflakes. I love how each polar bear is drawn in the same style but each one is unique! I think we all did a fabulous job following instructions to create this beautiful art piece. Bravo!
