This week we were lucky enough to begin our special 5 Senses science unit in the library with our teacher-librarian, Ms. Borden! We will be exploring each of our 5 Senses through a variety of fun, hands-on activities. Yesterday we read a story about each sense, did a Hi-5 Dance, and practiced turning on our superpower listening ears with Jamie from Cosmic Kids Yoga Zen Den. Today we made our own life-size diagrams in groups by tracing one person's body and adding details such as our eyes, ears, mouth, hands, and nose! We've got even more in store next week!
