We've been back from Christmas break for a week now and we've already got all kinds of of new and exciting things happening! We've started new units in Math (Multiplication) and Science (Body Works), a new novel in Language Arts (Kensuke's Kingom), a new focus in Français (Grammar and spelling). We're continuing along with the curriculum in our other subjects, and I have some fun ideas for art projects in the near future!
As you may have heard, Mr. Dwyer will be travelling to the Dominican Republic next week to help build a school for underpriviledged students. We will be FaceTiming with him throughout his trip, and our students will be given the opportunity to ask questions to children there about life in the Dominican Republic. Any and all donations to the Memory Mission are very much appreciated!
A note from Ms. Dundas-Gough was sent home with students who have come to music class without their recorder/materials for 3 classes. Without their music materials, they are unable to participate.
Thanks,
Madame O'Driscoll
