After having to postpone our walk on Friday due to heavy rain, we finally got to head outside with our clipboards and checklists. We explored the Torbay Gully Nature Reserve and observed some of the beautiful living and nonliving things in nature. Beforehand, we discussed the various items on our checklist - and which we were likely and less likely to see on our adventure. For example, we figured we probably wouldn't come across any lizards. We did, however, find lots of different coloured leaves, rocks, insects, and even some mushrooms! Everyone had a great time and we were lucky to have many parents and grandparents able to join us, which was a big help! Check out some of our pictures below:
