Last week was a very busy week! We had all kinds of fun activities for Acts of Kindness Week. Charity the Kindness Bear visited our class on Friday and shared a lovely story about Mr. Hatch and how his life was changed because of a simple act of kindness. Congratulations to Abbigail and Lyla who were our KINDO Bingo Winners. Enjoy your $5 Subway Gift Card! At our Recognition Assembly, Luke received an award for having an Awesome Attitude, Abbigail received an award for being a Fantastic Friend, and Zoe received an award for having a Glowing Personality. I will be watching everyone carefully for the next Recognition Assembly.
Report Cards will be sent home with students on Tuesday, December 1st. A memo will be sent home with instructions on how to book parent teacher conferences online using OPTIS. OPTIS will open to parents at 3pm on Tuesday. I am available on Wednesday after school from 3:15-5:00PM and all day on Thursday (until 6:30PM). Interview slots are for 10 minutes. I strongly urge all parents to sign up for a time to meet with me to discuss your child's progress. If you are unavailable during these times, or feel that you need longer than 10 minutes, please contact me ASAP!
