| I can't believe tomorrow is the first day of May already! The May calendar is now available here, and a paper copy will be sent home in message baggies tomorrow. Here are just a few reminders for the upcoming couple of weeks: |  |
- Wednesday May 2nd is our final ArtSmarts session with artist Isabella St. John. We will be using acrylic paint - so dress your child in old clothing!
- Final homework (for letter Zz) is due this Thursday. After that, yellow homework books can be kept at home!
- The Kindergarten concert will be held on Thursday, May 17th at 1:15PM in the HTE Gymnasium. We are practicing very hard and can't wait to perform our show for you! Reminder: Tickets will go on sale a week before the concert (~May 10).
- There will be no school on Friday, May 18th due to teacher PD. This is the final PD day for the 2017-2018 school year.
- There will be no school on Monday, May 21st due to the Victoria Day Holiday.
- Fluvarium field trip permission slips and money are due in by Friday, May 25th. At this point, we will take a look at which parents have volunteered to chaperone and make a selection at random. First priority will be given to parents who have not yet had the opportunity to accompany our class on an outing. I will be contacting parents by e-mail to confirm they are still available to meet us at the Fluvarium on June 7th.
